NUESTRAS ALIANZAS
In recent years, DULAZAR has been working in partnership with other non-profit organizations that implement housing programs in the department of Antioquia, benefiting the rural and urban populations of MedellÃn with housing improvement projects and new housing construction for more than 11 years, reaching more than 8,700 people in 12 communities in the department, with nearly $3 billion pesos.
The projects have focused not only on overcoming poverty due to inadequate housing for families, but have also made progress in building a safe environment in terms of education, nutrition, productivity, and social investment in community facilities and the development of soft skills that allow these communities, families, and individuals to rely on external assistance to maintain decent living conditions.
Pursuing our mission of "Transforming the homes of low-income families to improve their living conditions through interaction with other institutions in the department of Antioquia," we seek partnerships to implement comprehensive projects for the most vulnerable families and communities. We address the problems of poverty and community dislocation with a medium- and long-term strategy for comprehensive intervention in rural areas that strengthens and empowers families and communities through capacity building, not just housing improvements.
