ISVIMED launches 'Buy Your House': Subsidies for VIS and VIP housing in Medellín

The Medellín Social Housing and Habitat Institute (ISVIMED) has launched the "Buy Your House" program, designed to facilitate the acquisition of new Priority Interest (VIP) or Social Interest (VIS) housing in Medellín. This program seeks to reduce the housing shortage and support families in the financial closure necessary for their home purchase.

Program Features:

• District Housing Subsidy: Approximately $9,300,000,000 will be allocated for this program.

• Maximum value of VIS housing: $213,525,000 (based on 2025 salaries).

Requirements for registration:

1. Age: Be of legal age.

2. Household income: Not exceeding four (4) current legal minimum wages.

3. Residence: Having resided in Medellín continuously for at least six (6) years.

4. Property: Not owning a home anywhere in the country.

5. Project affiliation: Be affiliated with a new VIP or VIS housing project located in Medellín, with the deeds scheduled for June 2027.

6. Previous subsidies: Not having previously received a housing subsidy.
